Asset manager and shopping centre owner Redical has made two senior appointments to the leadership teams at its schemes in Leeds and Romford.

Rachel Bradburn has been appointed as leasing director responsible for Victoria Leeds. In her previous role as leasing manager at Hammerson, she introduced a number of new brands to the portfolio including Coach, Polo Ralph Lauren, and The Ivy.

Bradburn will be responsible for spearheading Victoria Leeds’ leasing strategy, and will look to drive the scheme forward as the city’s prime retail pitch.

Meanwhile, Oliver Lloyd has been appointed as leasing director of The Liberty Romford. He joins the company from Battersea Power Station, where he held the role of senior leasing manager through the development and opening year.

In his new role, Lloyd will look to utilise his experience at one of London’s newest developments to help evolve and elevate The Liberty Romford, by expanding the tenant line-up and mix of uses.

In addition, Javeria Hussain and Daniel Tucker have joined Redical as asset managers, bringing their experience from previous roles at Redevco and RivingtonHark respectively. They will work with Bradburn and Lloyd to implement strategic asset management plans that look to ensure Victoria Leeds and The Liberty Romford thrive in the long term.

Redical was launched in 2020 by Mikko Syrjanen and Petteri Barman, co-founders of Aalto Invest and former co-heads of real assets and members of the global executive committee at Man Group. As well as Victoria Leeds and The Liberty Romford, the company also owns and operates Clayton Square in Liverpool.

Mikko Syrjanen, co-founder of Redical, said: “We want to enhance the places we own to create dynamic and meaningful spaces for the people that use them, and to position brands at the heart of each destination.  To do that, however, requires an exceptional team, and so we are delighted to welcome Rachel, Oliver, Javeria and Dan to Redical.  Each brings something different, but consistent across our entire team is the same passion, drive and commitment to creating, leasing and operating vibrant, thriving urban multi-purpose destinations.”
