Restaurateurs behind The Eight and Yiqi to launch third concept in Chinatown London
The restaurateurs behind Hong Kong-style café The Eight and Pan-Asian concept YiQi are set to launch a third concept in London’s Chinatown.
Sanhao, which focuses on hand-pulled noodles and soups, will occupy a 3,000 sq ft space on the corner of Gerrard Street and Gerrard Place.
The restaurant will join a range of East and South East Asian (ESEA)-inspired restaurants across the destination, with the interior inspired by the style of Jiangnan in Eastern China, featuring a design palette of black, white, and grey.
Keng Yew Leong, founder of SanHao, said: “SanHao’s debut in Chinatown London marks another successful collaboration with Shaftesbury Capital and we are delighted to bring an authentic experience to what is the leading ESEA cultural hub in the UK. The success of The Eight and YiQi fills us with great confidence in how our SanHao concept will be received by visitors and we look forward to opening our doors to the Chinatown London community later this year.”
The team behind SanHao launched Pan-Asian concept, YiQi, earlier this year. Delivering a range of cuisines from across the ESEA region, YiQi’s menu looks to create a dynamic dining experience in the heart of Chinatown London.
