Revo announces new chair in board reshuffle

Revo, the forum dedicated to retail-led real estate, has announced the appointment of its new chair, two new additions to its board, and a reshuffled governance structure.
Under this new structure, the strategic running, governance, and oversight of the organisation will be the responsibility of an Executive Board, whilst major projects will be managed by a Projects Board, made up of the Executive Board and chairs of Revo’s major projects.
Vivienne King, currently a Revo board member and the founder of Impactful Places, will become chair of both the Executive and Project Boards for a period of one year, with Dan Parr, senior vice president of CACI, as chair-elect.
Alongside these organisational changes, Revo has also announced that Jacinta Rowsell, managing director of customer and retail operations, Northern Europe at URW, and Jack Busby, head of retail operations at Landsec, have joined the Revo Executive Board as directors.
They replace former board members, Neil Hockin, managing director of Lunson Mitchenall, and Michelle Buxton, CEO of Toolbox Marketing, who stepped down from the board earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Caroline Main FRICS, head of retail at MAPP – who has been a REVO board member for over 2 years – moves onto the new Projects Board as 2025 Conference Committee Chair.
Jacinta Rowsell said: “I am delighted to join the Revo Board alongside Vivienne, Jack and the broader team and look forward to contributing to Revo’s invaluable network for our industry. Revo’s approach to empowering the retail and leisure sectors through collaboration and innovation is what has driven its success over the past 38 years. I look forward to working closely with the team to continue this collaboration to drive positive impact and forward-thinking opportunities for our members.”
Jack Busby added: “I am delighted to be joining the Revo Board at such an exciting time for retail and leisure destinations in the UK. Landsec is committed to owning and managing great places that stand the test of time. I am eager to help bring this same approach to my role on the Revo board.”
Vivienne King, chair of Revo’s Executive Board, said: “I am privileged to take on the role of chair at Revo, working with an impressive Executive Board and the broader membership to continue Revo’s role as a leading voice for the retail and leisure built environment. Revo is bringing back its own conference in September this year, which makes it a particularly exciting moment to be taking on the chair.”
“Jacinta and Jack bring a valuable depth of experience to the executive board and I’m absolutely delighted to welcome them both on board.”
“On behalf of Revo, my thanks to Michelle and Neil for the dedication they have shown as board members. They have made an immeasurable contribution to Revo becoming the progressive change-making champion it is, in support of the sectors it promotes.”
