Roxy Leisure to open third Liverpool site in November
Roxy Leisure has confirmed a November opening date for its third site in Liverpool.
The group, which also operates the Roxy Ball Room concept, will open a Roxy Lanes bowling centre on School Lane.
As well as tenpin bowling, activities at the site will include pool, shuffleboard, ice-free curling, darts, karaoke, and beer pong, amongst others.
The group already operates its Roxy Ball Room concept at two Liverpool locations on Hanover Street and in Cavern Quarter. Both of these venues are available only to over-18s, whilst the new location will be available to younger crowds and families at certain times.
Roxy Leisure currently operates 17 sites across the UK, having recently opened in Leicester, Cardiff, Birmingham, Edinburgh, and Bristol. It also has venues in Sheffield, Nottingham, Leeds, and Manchester.
The group is looking to open 19 sites by the end of 2023, with a further five more planned for next year.
Roxy Leisure’s commercial manager, Joel Mitchell, said: “Since opening our first Roxy venue in Liverpool on Hanover Street back in 2016, the people of Liverpool have been nothing short of supportive. Both of our Roxy Ball Room venues have become fixtures in the city’s buzzing hospitality scene, so we’re really excited to be opening our first Roxy Lanes concept in the city.”
