Sephora makes Yorkshire debut at Meadowhall

Sephora UK has opened its first ever store in Yorkshire, taking a 3,389 sq ft unit at Meadowhall in Sheffield.

The opening marks the beauty retailer’s first of the summer, and follows the brand’s arrival at Liverpool ONE in May.

This follows a rapid period of expansion for Sephora in 2024, during which it opened stores in Manchester’s Trafford Centre, Eldon Square in Newcastle, the Metrocentre in Gateshead, and Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent.

The retailer is also set to open new stores later this year in Manchester Arndale, Westgate in Oxford, and St David’s on Cardiff.

Darren Pearce, centre director at Meadowhall, said: “This opening marks a major milestone for the centre, further elevating our premium beauty offering and reinforcing our position as one of the UK’s leading shopping destinations. Due to Sephora’s unique retail experience and exclusive product ranges we’re confident it will become a go-to destination for beauty lovers across the region.”
