Sheffield surveyors snapped up by Begbies Traynor

Chartered surveyors, valuers, and auctioneers Mark Jenkinson & Son has been acquired by Eddisons, a division of financial services giant Begbies Traynor.

The Sheffield based company specialises in commercial property as well as sale by auction.

Eddisons is the property advisory and transactional services division of Begbies Traynor, who will pay £400,000 for the acquisition.

Begbies Traynor says that Mark Jenkinson & Son generates an annual fee income of around £1 million.

Anthony Spencer, managing partner of Eddisons, said:
