Snowfake Gelato has made its Scottish debut at Braehead Shopping Centre in Glasgow.

The dessert vendor has opened a 270 sq ft permanent kiosk, offering gelato, coffee, hot chocolate, crepes, and waffles.

The kiosk is located on the scheme’s upper mall, alongside Swarovski, Goldsmiths, and Lovisa.

Huw Kmiot, associate director of asset management at Pradera Lateral, said: “The arrival of another highly anticipated Scottish debut at Braehead cements our reputation as the first-choice destination in Scotland. Snowflake Gelato’s arrival underscores the destination’s reputation as a place that delivers strong trading performance, and responds to the consumer demand for premium F&B offers.”

The opening of Snowflake Gelato follows the news that global leisure brand SuperPark will make its UK debut at Braehead Shopping Centre in a 30,000 sq ft space early next year. The venue will offer 40 attractions including adventure challenges, sporting games and freestyle activities.

Braehead is owned by SGS UK Retail and asset managed by Pradera Lateral, with Lunson Mitchenall and Savills retained as leasing agents.
