Space NK opens first Leicester store at Highcross
Space NK has opened its first store in Leicester at the Highcross shopping centre.
The retailer – which operates over 76 stores in the UK and Ireland – has opened next to Skechers on the lower mall, and becomes the first beauty retailer to open at the scheme.
This follows the recent openings of fashion retailer Mango and Asian restaurant Maki & Ramen at Highcross.
Space NK’s opening will be followed shortly by the arrival of Dutch wellbeing brand Rituals, which will open its doors at the shopping centre in July.
Michelle Menezes, centre director at Highcross, said: “It’s been a busy, but exciting, first half of the year at Highcross. Our teams have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to secure some amazing, much-loved brands, each of whom have shown real interest in becoming part of Leicester’s retail scene.
“That’s why we’re thrilled that Space NK has chosen Highcross as its latest destination, bringing with it loads of popular brands that shoppers will now be able to try out and get their hands on, while also speaking to their talented team of beauty experts. We already know that the people of Leicester love to invest in their health and beauty regimes, so we’re not surprised to see the huge queue that’s formed outside its doors this morning, raring to get in and see it for themselves.
