Sweaty Betty relocates and recommits at Victoria Leeds
Sweaty Betty is set to relocate its store at Victoria Leeds, as the activewear brand commits to a new site at the shopping centre.
The brand is moving to an 835 sq ft space within Victoria Gate, after an 11-year residency at the historic Victoria Quarter.
Opening in November, the store will join Victoria Leeds’ portfolio of activewear brands, which includes Alo Yoga and outdoor brand Finisterre.
Rachel Bradburn, head of leasing at Redical, said: “We are committed to ensuring the most popular health and wellness brands are represented at Victoria Leeds, providing shoppers with options that are aspirational, accessible and affordable. Following a fruitful 11-year relationship with Sweaty Betty at its previous location in Victoria Quarter, we are eagerly anticipating welcoming the brand to its new home in our ultra-modern and sleek Victoria Gate destination and continue what has been a hugely successful partnership in the city.”
Andrea Gray, vice president of global stores, wholesale and third party at Sweaty Betty, added: “Leeds remains a vital location for our brand, and we’re delighted to strengthen our partnership with Victoria Leeds as we move into a beautiful new store in Victoria Gate. We look forward to inviting our customers to experience our joyful new setting this holiday season.”
This follows a series of high-profile lettings at the Victoria Leeds development, including Finisterre, OMNES and Dinny Hall.
