Ted Baker headlines four new openings at Merry Hill

Sovereign Centros has announced that Ted Baker joins three others as the latest retailers to open at Merry Hill, taking a total of 8,740 sq ft of retail space.

The fashion brand has opened a 2,500 sq ft store in the Black Country shopping centre’s upper level.

Ted Baker is joined by stationers Paperchase, West Midlands-based fashion retailer Faayds, and jewellers Claire’s Accessories, which are taking 2,350 sq ft, 2,660 sq ft, and 1,230 sq ft spaces respectively.

This news follows Merry Hill’s recent signings of ten-pin bowling operator Hollywood Bowl and luxury jewellers Beaverbrooks, opening 36,000 sq ft and 2,740 sq ft spaces respectively.

Merry Hill is home to over 175 brands, including Next, Mango, Primark, M&S, River Island, H&M, Hobbs, and Flannels.

Alistair Winning, asset manager at Sovereign Centros, said: “Introducing premium brand Ted Baker to Merry Hill adds to the emerging aspirational retailer hub on the destination’s upper level. Paperchase, Faayds, and Claire’s Accessories also contribute to the diversity of retail on offer here”.
