The Portman Estate announces host of new signings in Marylebone

The Portman Estate has announced a number of new signings within its Marylebone neighbourhood in Central London.
Lead by chef Angela Hartnett, Café Murano has opened its fourth site at 52-55 Dorset Street. The café spas 3,500 sq ft and offers a range of Italian-inspired flavours.
Also joining The Portman Estate is Maset, which will launch in September on 40-42 Chiltern Street. The Mediterranean concept is the latest from Melody Adams, the restaurateur behind Michelin Guide restaurants Lurra and Donostia on Seymour Place.
Rounding off the new food and beverage signings is Fire & Wine by Boxcar. The restaurant is located at 23 New Quebec Street and is led by Ankur Wishart and Barry Hirst, who are also co-founders of Open House London and The Italian Greyhound.
Adding to The Portman Estate’s retail offering is Emmy London, which has opened a flagship boutique at 3 New Quebec Street. The lifestyle brand offers footwear and accessories, and joins other independent designers on New Quebec Street including Suzannah London, Isabel Manns, John Boyd Hats and William Crabtree and Sons.
Meanwhile, Dutch lifestyle brand Anna + Nina has opened its first UK store at 54 Chiltern Street. The 800 sq ft unit is a new milestone for the brand, which has stores open internationally across Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Antwerp. Founded in 2012 as a jewellery brand, Anna + Nina has since expanded its offering to clothing and homeware.
Finally, Los Angeles-based eyewear brand Jacques Marie Mage has opened its first UK standalone store at 20-22 Chiltern Street. Comprising 1,200 sq ft, the flagship location also offers jewellery and accessories.
Puja Dowlani, retail associate director at The Portman Estate, said: “This wave of new signings and openings will further elevate the hospitality and retail experiences available across The Portman Estate and help bolster long-term growth, delivering a balanced offering for residents, visitors and workers alike. Portman Marylebone continues to be a destination of choice for outstanding brands, both British and international, seasoned and independent.”
