URW launches health and wellness hub at Westfield London

Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) has introduced Health & Wellness at The Village at Westfield London, a dedicated destination for health and wellness operators.
The destination introduces over 50,000 sq ft of space designed to meet the growing demand for accessible health and wellness experiences within a retail environment. URW’s recent How We Shop: From Play to Purpose report found that 70% of UK adults are open to accessing non-emergency health services in non-traditional settings like shopping centres.
Several new openings are already underway, including Betterview, a laser eye surgery clinic, which opened in August 2024, and Prince Pharmacy, a private pharmacy group, which opens this spring. Also joining is Effect Doctors, a specialist clinic known for its IV drips, will open a 550 sq ft clinic this spring.
The next wave of openings includes StretchLAB, which will open a 1,462 sq ft space in April offering one-on-one assisted stretching designed to enhance mobility and flexibility. Expanding the wellness offering further, So.Shell, a nail and brow salon, will open a 740 sq ft space in spring 2025.
Constantin Wiesmann, leasing director UK at URW, said: “The health and wellness sector is experiencing significant growth driven by a demand for convenient and personalised healthcare options, as highlighted in our How We Shop research. At Westfield London, we are dedicated to creating innovative spaces that evolve with the changing needs of our communities and visitors. The introduction of Health and Wellness at The Village is a perfect example of this commitment, showcasing our focus on delivering world-class, mixed-use destinations that enhance the customer experience and cater to the lifestyle priorities of today’s consumers. We are excited by the momentum in this sector and look forward to its ongoing growth.”
The addition forms part of the wider redevelopment of The Village. While the first floor will be transformed to host a variety of new medical and wellness brands, the ground floor will focus on premium and luxury brands.
