Victoria Leeds welcomes local independent coffee brand
Victoria Leeds has welcomed the arrival of Leeds-based independent coffee roaster North Star Coffee to Victoria Quarter.
Located adjacent to Jo Malone, the venue will offer a rotating selection of ethically sourced coffees, including espresso-based drinks, filter coffee, teas, matcha, iced drinks, and soft drinks. The kiosk will also offer a range of homemade sandwiches and baked goods.
As one of the UK’s first B Corp certified coffee roasters, North Star Coffee adds to Victoria Leeds’ line-up of now 15 certified occupiers.
Rachel Bradburn, head of leasing at Redical, said: “At Victoria Leeds, we remain dedicated to building a destination that not only leads nationally, but also serves and uplifts Leeds as a city. North Star Coffee contributes to this, whilst demonstrating our commitment to delivering a unique, standout mix. Its arrival brings a sense of authenticity and discovery, adding a distinct point of difference to Victoria Leeds.”
Holly Kragiopoulos, co-founder of North Star, added: “Leeds has always been at the heart of North Star Coffee, so opening in Victoria Quarter is a huge milestone. This acts as our biggest commitment to physical hospitality so far, so it was important we selected the right location to have the biggest impact. Victoria Leeds undoubtedly delivers on this, and we can rest assured we’re in the best of hands.”
This news follows the recent announcement that premium British steak restaurant, The Cut & Craft, will be launching a new space at Victoria Quarter, expanding its existing site at the destination. The new space will create an adjoining cocktail bar and lounge area, with a dedicated stage on the ground floor.
