Waterstones to open second Leeds store at White Rose Shopping Centre

Waterstones is set to open its second store in Leeds at White Rose Shopping Centre.

The bookseller will occupy the former Marks & Spencer unit on the lower ground floor of the scheme later this year.

The store joins Waterstones’ existing location in Leeds on Albion Street in the city centre.

This comes after it was announced that Primark will be doubling its presence at the Leeds scheme from 26,200 sq ft to 55,700 sq ft.

Waterstones will join other new openings at the shopping centre including Wingstop and Chopstix, as well as the incoming arrival of bowling concept King Pins later this year.

Steven Foster, centre director at White Rose Shopping Centre, said: “Waterstones is a brilliant addition to White Rose and our retail mix, and we’re delighted that the bookseller will soon be joining us at the centre alongside some other very exciting imminent additions. We look forward to sharing opening dates with our guests soon.”
