Wickes opens in Scotland for first time in over 10 years
Wickes has opened its first store in Scotland in over a decade at Arnhall Business Park in Aberdeen.
The 32,000 sq ft store offers a range of home improvement and DIY products, and also features a showroom for bathrooms and kitchens.
The new store also features a paint mixing station and an outdoor project centre, and is the retailer’s first to offer products from its SolarFast solar panel range.
Sarah Taitt, chief property and services officer at Wickes, said: “We are thrilled to be opening a new Wickes store in Aberdeen. Our first Scottish location to open in over 10 years, the new store will offer residents of Aberdeen and the surrounding areas a wide range of home improvement products, services, and expert advice from our knowledgeable staff. We look forward to meeting our new customers”.
Wickes last opened a store in Scotland in 2013.
Last year, Wickes said it was “confident” in its pipeline for new stores in 2024.
