Wilko to mark London return at former Uxbridge store

23rd August 2024 |

Wilko is set to make its return to London, opening in its former trading location at Uxbridge’s The Pavilions Shopping Centre.

Taking the 30,000 sq ft unit it previously occupied at the scheme, the discount retailer will open its seventh store since it was acquired by CDS Superstores.

The store will stock a range of cleaning, decorating, DIY, health and beauty, home, and gardening products and offer a click-and-collect service.

Since Wilko’s acquisition by CDS, which owns The Range, it has also opened stores in Exeter, Luton, Plymouth, Poole, Rotherham and St Albans.

Alex Simpkin, chief executive of CDS Superstores, said: “Our expansion is about bringing Wilko back to the heart of communities, providing quality and value in every corner of the UK.

“We’ve had a great reception from customers in our six locations to date, and from wilko.com shoppers, and we’re thrilled to announce our reopening in Uxbridge, which also marks our return to Greater London too.”
