Derbion to deliver Derby’s Eastern Gateway project
2nd September 2024 Derbion shopping centre has confirmed that work to transform a new gateway to Derby city centre will begin this month, after funding arrangements were approved by Derby City Council. The Eastern Gateway will create a new façade and urban garden, transforming the area opposite the bus station and the eastern entrance to Derbion. The project – which is expected to complete in the first half of 2025 – is being party-funded by the Government’s Future High Street fund.
