M Core’s Royton Square fully let following F&B signing
Royton Square shopping centre in Greater Manchester is now fully let following scheme owner M Core’s signing of an independent Indian restaurant operator.
The operator has taken a 1,207 sq ft unit on a 10-year lease, bringing the 52,703 sq ft scheme to full occupancy across 34 retail units.
Royton Square is located in the centre of Royton, a suburb of Oldham situated approximately eight miles northeast of Manchester. The centre is anchored by a Co-operative Food Store and Boyes, with other occupiers including Card Factory, Specsavers, and Ladbrokes.
The incoming operator, a Royton-based business, will open the area’s first authentic Indian restaurant. An opening is expected in mid-July 2026.
Rakesh Joshi, director at LCP UK, part of M Core, said: “Royton Square is now fully let, which reflects the strength of the centre and the demand we are seeing from operators. We are continuing to improve the food and beverage offering at Royton, giving the local community more reasons to visit and to stay. This latest signing adds a distinctive independent operator to the mix and broadens the range of cuisines on site.”
