British Land agrees 13,000 sq ft of new lettings at Glasgow Fort

British Land is set to welcome three national retailers to the lineup at Glasgow Fort after agreeing 13,000 sq ft of new lettings.

Jewellery and accessory retailer Lovisa and heritage menswear retailer Moss will join the retail park, taking 1,000 sq ft and 3,750 sq ft respectively, while fast food chain Wingstop agreed to take 3,300 sq ft unit at the end of June.

Moss will be positioned next to M&S, taking the unit formerly occupied by River Island, which recently undertook a major relocation within the scheme to open a flagship store. Lovisa will be situated near to the recently opened Superdrug unit.

These new additions follow the opening of footwear retailer Office at Glasgow Fort earlier this month. At approximately 5,000 sq ft, the new store is more than double the size of the retailer’s previous space at the scheme and stocks products from brands including Adidas, Birkenstock, and UGG.

This leasing activity follows a period of strong performance for Glasgow Fort in 2025, with the destination achieving record visitor numbers and an 8% year-on-year increase in footfall in the last 12 months, its strongest annual performance to date.

In May 2026, British Land also submitted the planning application for a 60,000 sq ft expansion at the retail park. If approved, it will be one of the UK’s first major retail and leisure development investments since 2020 and will see an expansion of the existing M&S, as well as an enhanced leisure offering, including bowling and arcades.

Ross McCall, retail leasing & commercialisation director at British Land, said: “The arrival of Moss, Lovisa and Wingstop, alongside Office’s continued investment in the destination, demonstrates the strong demand we’re seeing from retailers looking to grow at Glasgow Fort. We’re committed to continually evolving the park’s offer, ensuring it remains a destination that attracts leading brands and gives customers more reasons to visit.

“This leasing activity builds on a period of strong growth and reflects our commitment to creating a vibrant environment that benefits both customers and occupiers. As we look to second half of the year, we’re confident that our evolving mix of brands will continue to drive positive momentum across the park.”

Cheryl Haroan, regional manager of central Scotland and Northern Ireland at Lovisa, added: “As we continue to grow our UK footprint, Glasgow Fort represents an exciting opportunity for Lovisa. British Land has created a thriving retail destination with a strong mix of complementary brands, making it the ideal place for us to introduce our latest concept store and connect with even more customers.”
