£33.9m worth of assets sold by LondonMetric
Real estate investment trust LondonMetric has sold a number of assets, including retail units, for a combined value of £33.9m.
The assets include a 19,000 sq ft Aldi store in Weymouth, a 16,000 sq ft Premier Inn in Ringwood, two IMO car washes, and a new M&S food hall in Derby.
Other assets in the sale include a number of warehouses and self storage units, as well as a trade unit let to Jewson.
Andrew Jones, chief executive of LondonMetric, said: “With the investment market strengthening over the past few months, we have taken advantage of this improved liquidity to opportunistically sell down some of our more mature long income assets.
“These sales crystallise strong returns and have been transacted at attractive yields and narrow discounts to book values.”
