Black Sheep Coffee brews up regional debut in Peterborough

Independent café Black Sheep Coffee has signed for its regional debut in Peterborough, set to open a 1,800 sq ft kiosk at Queensgate in June.

Along with coffee, Black Sheep will offer a selection of Norwegian waffles, bagels, toasties, and smoothie bowls, as well as cakes, pastries, and light bites.

Founded in 2013, Black Sheep Coffee now operates over 50 locations nationwide.

Its arrival follows the recent opening of indoor mini-golf brand Puttstars, part of the scheme’s £60m leisure extension which launched last year.

Gabriel Shohet and Eirik Holth, co-founders of Black Sheep Coffee, said: “We’ve experienced immense success across our sites in areas such as London, Manchester, and Edinburgh, and Queensgate makes a great addition to the portfolio, attracting local people and more dedicated visits from further away.”

Ed Ginn, director of investment management at scheme owners Invesco Real Estate, added: “As we look to evolve the offer within the destination, we want to ensure our visitors have a mix of retail, F&B and leisure that can support a full-day out, and we’re confident that Black Sheep Coffee will enrich the centre and provide something unique for the city.”
