M Core acquires North Worcestershire retail park for £3m
21st April 2026 M Core has acquired Tannery Retail Park in Stourport-on-Severn, North Worcestershire, from property investment and development company Goold Estates for circa £3m. The fully-let retail scheme, located on a 2.1-acre site on the corner of Tan Lane and Lombard Street, extends to 28,800 sq ft and is anchored by B&M. Other retailers at the scheme include Angling Direct, St Richard’s Hospice Foundation, and InStore Pharmacy. The retail park is based on the site of the former Midcounties Co-operative site, which Goold Estates acquired in 2024 before investing over £1m into the strip-out, subdivision, and refurbishment of the existing store. The development created a multi-let retail scheme comprising four units, ranging in size from 1,859 sq ft to 18,889 sq ft, with new shopfronts, signage, LED lighting, and a bike shelter. Existing amenities have been retained and enhanced, including a 145-space customer car park. The estate was renamed Tannery Retail Park as a nod to the historic Stourport tannery that occupied the site between 1702 and 1964.
