Covent Garden to welcome not-for-profit café

Longmartin Properties, a joint venture between Shaftesbury and the Mercers’ Company, has announced the signing of Fair Shot Café to The Yards in Covent Garden.

The not-for-profit café will occupy a 2,224 sq ft unit at 3 Slingsby Place, relocating from its previous spot in Mayfair.

Set to open in February, Fair Shot Café will be a the first not-for-profit social enterprise in Covent Garden. The café aims to combat unemployment rates amongst young adults with learning difficulties, Fair Shot works by enrolling 12 young adults with a learning disability into their hospitality training programme each year.

Fair Shot Café The Yards will offer seasonal dining options accommodating for dietary requirements such as vegan and gluten free.

Fair shot café will join the newly opened Gura Gura, Lahpet, and Buns From Home as recent food and beverage (F&B) signings at The Yards.
