Cribbs Mall welcomes local brands for Christmas pop-ups

20th November 2023 |

Cribbs Mall in Bristol has welcomed two local retailers on short-term leases as the scheme gears up for the festive period.

Local brand 6 O’Clock Gin has agreed a deal for a 554 sq ft store, and will offer a range of handcrafted gins, whilst unisex clothing company Goose & Gander is set to occupy an 800 sq ft store.

Also joining the scheme is homeware and stationery retailer Mooch, which has signed a five-year lease for a 2,286 sq ft unit at Cribbs Mall. The retailer will replace Paperchase and offer a range of items such as cards, candles, and gifts.

The new signings follow a busy period for the scheme, which has enjoyed a period of increased leasing activity. This has included a significant upsize for Phase Eight, as well as a five-year regear for Hobbs. Cribbs Mall also recently welcomed the arrivals of Victoria’s Secret, Greggs, and Clogau.

Scott Linard, portfolio director at M&G Real Estate, said: “Christmas at Cribbs Mall is always a spectacular occasion and this year is no different thanks to another excellent activation and the arrival of new retailers which are perfect for Christmas shoppers.  Our goal is to ensure Cribbs Mall is popular for all the family and this year’s Christmas plans are expected to attract visitors from across the region.

“It is also great to support local businesses by providing them with pop-up spaces for the festive period and offering them access to our wide customer base as they look to continue to grow their respective brands. We are also delighted to welcome Mooch as the latest long-term retailer to the centre. Their arrival, and the recent commitments by Phase Eight and Hobbs, ensures we continue to have a strong tenant mix at the centre and pushes Cribbs Mall closer to being 100% occupied.”

Time Retail Partners and Cushman & Wakefield are Cribbs Mall’s retained letting agents.
