Historic northern hotel granted expansion
The Yorkshire Dales National Park have given the green light for owners, The Brook Group, to embark on the construction of 14 purpose-built luxury hotel lodges and an additional restaurant space at the historic Aysgarth Falls Hotel & Palmers Restaurant.
The Brook Group acquired the property two years ago and has since undertaken an extensive refurbishment of the hotel, including 11 bedrooms, the bar, lounge, and Palmers restaurant, which reopened in April this year.
Jason Brook, CEO of The Brook Group, expressed the company’s vision to enhance the property in line with current demands and tastes, aiming to create a retreat-like setting for various customers and offering excellent facilities for corporate and international guests.
The hotel lodges will place guests in the heart of the Yorkshire landscape, just a short walk from the renowned Aysgarth Falls and other local attractions, including Bolton Castle, Wensleydale Creamery, and the Forbidden Corner.
