Mamas & Papas will launch ten new concessions within Marks & Spencers and Next stores this year, as the parenting retailer looks to expans.

This marks a change of fortune for the retailer, was purchased by Bluegem in 2014 and has since undergone a number of restructuring.

Mamas & Papas currently operates 10 concession stores in Marks & Spencer and Next.

The retailer is also planning to expand across Indonesia, Thailand, and Spain, following its debut in Australia last year.

Mamas & Papas CEO Nathan Williams told The Mail on Sunday: “We’re very much on track for a record-breaking year. We’ve had a phenomenal golden quarter of peak trade.”

This comes after the retailer recorded an increase in underlying profits of 50% during the 13 weeks to 31st December, with underlying sales up by 7%. The company also enjoyed a record Black Friday, with year-on-year sales increasing by 18% over the three-week period.
