Martin Property Group acquires Romford shopping centre

Northern Ireland-based Martin Property Group has acquired The Mercury Shopping Centre in Romford.

The 243,089 sq ft asset in the heart of Romford Town Centre is anchored by Asda, Poundland, Premier Cinema, Mecca Bingo, and McDonalds.

The scheme is also supported by a 998-space car park.

Martin Property Group said it has a continued appetite for further acquisitions within the retail sector, alongside the office, residential, and hotel sectors.
