MINISO set to continue expansion with Wandsworth opening
Household goods retailer MINISO is set to continue its UK expansion with its next launch in Wandsworth.
The retailer has opened 10 stores in the last year and the Wandsworth outlet will be MINISO’s sixth in Greater London.
Opening its first store in Ealing in 2019, the Chinese retailer now operates 18 stores nationwide. Globally, it trades out of over 5,300 stores across 105 countries.
MINISO products include toys, household gadgets, personal accessories, and cosmetics.
Saad Usman, MINISO UK chief operating officer, said: “The retail market had already taken a knock before the pandemic, and the challenges have continued. However, footfall has been returning, and now there is an even stronger appetite among consumers for well-designed, enjoyable, gifts and gadgets”.
