M&S takes 21,000 sq ft in Wrexham
Marks & Spencer has agreed to sign for 21,000 sq ft of retail warehouse space at Plas Coch Retail Park in Wrexham.
Signing a 10-year lease with site owner Ediston Property Investment Company, M&S will join Boots, Pets at Home, TK Maxx, Currys, and Costa Coffee at the 90,000 sq ft retail park.
A 4,000 sq ft unit will also be developed as part of the deal, which will become part of the M&S store.
Calum Bruce, investment manager at Ediston, said: “Securing a tenant of M&S’s calibre is transformational for our asset and underscores the strength of the location and its attractiveness to national tenants.
“It also illustrates the preference of many retailers to choose out-of-town retail warehouse parks ahead of the high street and shopping centres as their favoured trading destinations.”
