Revolution appoints CEO as accounts probe continues
Makeup retailer Revolution has announced the appointment of Bob Holt as chief executive officer, as auditors continue to probe the company.
Holt has held the role of chief operating officer since October, and takes over from Adam Minto who stepped down earlier this month.
Revolution’s shares were suspended in September after it twice failed to post its annual results, while also warning of lower profits. Auditors told the board it had identified a number of serious concerns.
The ongoing independent investigation, carried out by Forensic Risk Alliance and Macfarlanes, has drawn no conclusions thus far, said Revolution.
Holt has experience as a public company executive in multiple roles, and has led a number of companies through flotations and turnarounds, most recently as chairman of SureServe, Totally, and Mears Group.
He said: “I believe there is a huge opportunity for the business as it moves ahead and I am confident that, together with the team, we will drive the business forward.”
