Søstrene Grene to make Hampshire debut at Festival Place
Danish homeware brand Søstrene Grene is set to make its Hampshire debut at Festival Place shopping centre in Basingstoke.
Taking a 14,546 sq ft unit, the retailer will offer a range of Scandinavian-inspired furniture, soft furnishings, textiles, and kitchenware, as well as art supplies, stationery, children’s toys, and occasion-based accessories.
Poppy Radford, asset manager at Sovereign Centros from CBRE, said: “We are hugely proud to announce that Søstrene Grene has committed to a new store at Festival Place. The signing is also evidence of Sovereign Centros from CBRE’s strategy to curate a mix of tenants that directly responds to the needs of the Festival Place visitor, providing a high-quality, but still accessible shopping experience. We look forward to welcoming Søstrene Grene later this year, joining our evolving line-up of premium retailers.”
Norma Jacob and Richard Power, UK joint venture partners at Søstrene Grene, added: “As Søstrene Grene continues to expand across the UK, we are thrilled to announce that we will be making our Hampshire debut at Festival Place. As a brand, we have an ethos of ensuring both quality and affordability, so Festival Place was the perfect next home for us. We are so excited to open in later this year and introduce our unique ‘hygge’ concept to a brand-new audience.”
The signing of Søstrene Grene follows the opening of local homeware and gifts retailer, Fig and Fox, after a successful pop-up at the end of 2023.
