The Body Shop global retail boss steps down

8th December 2022 | Phoebe Dobke

Global retail director Lisa Campbell has stepped down from her position at The Body Shop.

It is believed that Campbell stepped down in November despite being promoted to her role as retail director in January, Retail Week reported.

Campbell joined the beauty retailer as retail director in 2014 and became managing director for the UK and Ireland in 2017.

Before her time at The Body Shop, she was commercial director at Planet Organic for four years and retail director at Space NK.

The Body Shop has struggled to recover since its sales fell during the pandemic. Management is applying measures to generate demand and will be rolling out a new Workshop store format to drive sales.
