The Corn Exchange Manchester appoints centre manager

Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Dave Pearman as centre manager of The Corn Exchange in Manchester.

He joins from Landswood de Coy, where he held the role of centre manager at Runcorn Shopping City. He also previously worked at Savills in the same position.

Pearman replaces Dan Davis, who was recently appointed as centre manager of the Printworks leisure scheme in Manchester.

The Corn Exchange recently underwent a number of developments under its previous owner, Aviva, which saw it become a premium destination for food and entertainment operators. It is also supplemented by an on-site Roomzzz aparthotel with 114 rooms.

Speaking on LinkedIn, Dave Pearman said: “Manchester is a City that is close to my heart filled with rich history, culture, diversity and always moving forward as one of the most visited cities in the UK. […] Together with the site team, wider Cushman & Wakefield team, our amazing tenants, contractors and partners I look forward to a exciting and successful future ahead.”

In January 2023, it was announced that the scheme had been sold by Aviva to a private Middle Eastern investor. The property was put on the market for £43m in 2023, less than what Aviva paid when it was purchased from Blackstone Group and Milligan Retail Resorts for £67m.
