Treetop Adventure Golf opens at Metrocentre
Treetop Adventure Golf has opened the doors to its latest venue at the Metrocentre in Gateshead, following a £2.5m investment into the destination.
The indoor minigolf operator has taken a 25-year lease for the 17,500 sq ft space, which is expected to create around 20 jobs locally.
The venue features two indoor 18-hole courses, whilst customers can grab cocktails and mocktails at The Thirsty Toucan bar or a coffee from the Jungle Buzz Café.
Ben Cox of Sovereign Centros, senior asset manager for Metrocentre, said: “The arrival of Treetop Golf adds another exciting dimension to the offer at Metrocentre, which has further strengthened in recent weeks since the opening of the region’s only Zara.
“We are also getting ready to open the doors on flagship stores for Flannels, Sports Direct and Everlast Gym this November, reinforcing our position as the dominant location for shopping and leisure in the North East.”
