Unbound group appoints new director
Unbound, the owner of the Hotter fashion brand, has announced the appointment of Alastair Miller as an independent non-executive director.
Miller has experience in various retail businesses, having worked for Superdry, New Look, and NewRiver.
He will be appointed as chair of the company’s Audit and Risk Committee and join the business’s Remuneration Committee and Nominations Committee.
This news follows the stepping-down independent non-executive directors Paul Goodson and Suki Thompson, as Gavin Manson transitions to the role of chief financial officer.
Neil Johnson, chair of the board, said : “[Miller’s] recent and relevant expertise and proven abilities will further strengthen governance and will add significant strategic value to the Board and the Group.”
“The Board restructure and streamlining forms part of our wider focus on costs across the business”, he added.
