Itsu joins centre:mk lineup
Asian fast food restaurant itsu has become the latest company to open at the centre:mk in Milton Keynes.
The 2,600 sq ft unit on Midsummer Arcade will open this winter.
itsu specialises in Asian-inspired dishes including sushi, rice and noodle bowls, gyoza, bao buns, soups, and salads. It also aims to provide low-calorie options, with a third of the menu completely plant-based.
itsu centre:mk will have half-price sales every evening in an effort to combat food waste.
The news follows a series of recent signings for centre:mk, including the opening of a Cosy Club restaurant, retailers Charles Tyrwhitt and Ted Baker, and luxury jewellery brand Loupe.
Kevin Duffy, centre director of centre:mk, said: “Sitting comfortably alongside the likes of Byron, Wagamama, and the recently opened Cosy Club, as well as premium options such as Harrods champagne bar at H Beauty, itsu centre:mk provides even greater culinary variety for our visitors, and we are proud to have secured a new operator that aligns seamlessly with our destination.”
Vishal Talreja, property director at itsu, added: “We are always on the lookout for prime city locations, and centre:mk is just that; we feel confident that our brand will be well received here.”
MMX Retail and CBRE acted for centre:mk. KLM represented itsu.
