Albert’s Schloss lines up Shaftesbury Avenue opening
Bavarian beer hall concept Albert’s Schloss is lining up an opening at the former Rainforest Café site at Jungle Cave.
Parent group Mission Mars, who also operate Rudy’s Napoletana Pizza, is set to launch the new 700-capacity beer hall on Shaftesbury Avenue near Piccadilly Circus.
Mission Mars reported earlier this month that its existing three Albert Schloss sites in Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham saw its revenue grow to £4.3m in the five-week to January 1, an increase of 104% over the previous year.
Mission Mars is looking to invest £25-30m in the next three years and plans to open six to eight Rudy’s sites per year and one Albert’s Schloss, Propel reported.
Target locations for the beer house concept include London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dublin, Belfast, Newcastle, Leeds, Bristol and Las Vegas.
