Wagamama opens at Merry Hill
Wagamama has opened at Merry Hill Shopping Centre in Dudley.
Opening in a 4,000 sq ft unit, the pan-Asian restaurant concept accommodates 140 guests and brings Wagamama’s total UK estate to 158 sites.
The restaurant serves Wagamama’s new summer menu including koyo bowls and the vegan kare lomen, with half of the menu being completely plant-based.
JLL and Time Retail Partners represented Merry Hill.
In May, it was reported that the parent group of Wagamama, The Restaurant Group, plans to accelerate restaurant openings as it shifts away from leisure. This includes the closures of some Frankie & Benny’s sites to make way for Wagamama’s expansion.
The group is also reportedly looking to open a Wagamama restaurant in Northampton, the first in the city.
