M&S leads over 110,000 sq ft of new lettings at Wembley Park

Quintain has announced that it has completed 110,000 sq ft of new retail and leisure lettings at London’s Wembley Park, headlined by M&S which will open a new 14,300 sq ft food store. The signing follows direct feedback from the estate’s Quintain Living Build to Rent residents, which identified the brand as a highly desired addition to the neighbourhood. The food store will join the M&S clothing store which has traded at London Designer Outlet in Wembley Park for almost 13 years. Meanwhile, Lidl has renewed at its 11,048 sq ft store within the estate, while Health First Pharmacy has secured a new 1,389 sq ft unit and is relocating from nearby to better serve the neighbourhood. In addition, momentum across the fitness, recreation, and leisure categories is also accelerating at Wembley Park. Nobody’s Child to make fourth opening of 2026 at Bath’s SouthGate

Nobody’s Child is set to make its fourth opening of 2026 at SouthGate Shopping Centre in Bath. Opening this August, the 1,500 sq ft store is the womenswear retailer’s eleventh standalone boutique, joining its London stores in Carnaby Street, Spitalfields, and its flagship boutique in Covent Garden, as well as other locations in Bluewater, Brighton, Cambridge, Harrogate, Leeds, St Albans, and Windsor. Camilla Holdsworth, senior retail leasing manager at British Land, said: “The arrival of Nobody’s Child at SouthGate is a fantastic addition to our fashion offering and reflects Bath’s growing appeal to brands looking to extend their reach beyond London. Moss to upsize at Cribbs Mall as Levi’s joins fashion lineup

Moss is set to relocated and upsize its store at Cribbs Mall, as Levi’s also joins the fashion lineup at the Bristol retail and leisure destination. The menswear retailer is moving into a larger, 4,124 sq ft unit on a new 15-year lease. Moss has been a longstanding tenant at Cribbs Mall, and the move will provide the brand with an enhanced trading environment, allowing it to showcase a wider range of products, including suits, formalwear, casualwear, and accessories. Moss’s upsize follows a number of major upgrades from other existing occupiers at the scheme, including Crew Clothing Company, H&M, Skechers and River Island. Meanwhile, Levi’s will occupy Moss’s former 2,265 sq ft unit on a five-year lease. The retailer, known for its denim collections and casualwear, joins the scheme following recent arrivals from Rodd & Gunn, AllSaints, and Animal. Grosvenor completes 58 leasing transactions across Mayfair and Belgravia estates in first half of 2026

Grosvenor has completed 58 leasing transactions across its Mayfair and Belgravia estates in the first half of 2026, covering over 80,000 sq ft and reflecting £5.4m of secured annual rent. During the period, 37 new leases were agreed across retail, hospitality, and office uses, while a further 21 lease renewals were secured. New leases were agreed at rents 9.4% above estimated rental value (ERV), while overall leasing activity, including new leases and renewals, achieved rents 7.8% above ERV. Grosvenor’s portfolio occupancy has been maintained at 97%, with lettable retail vacancy of 2.6%. This compares with West End retail vacancy of 12.2%, according to MSCI’s Q1 2026 data, the latest available. The group said these results underline continued confidence in central London despite a more challenging backdrop for parts of the retail market, with demand evident in neighbourhoods that offer a mix of retail, hospitality, culture, and public realm. This leasing activity has been driven by demand for well-curated space in Mayfair, particularly among independent luxury, hospitality, and wellness brands. Aberdeen Investments acquires trio of David Lloyd health and leisure clubs

Aberdeen Investments, acting on behalf of a Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) client, has three new David Lloyd health and fitness clubs in Cheltenham, St Neots, and Kettering for £67.32m. The sale-and-leaseback transactions comprise three purpose-built health, fitness, and racquets clubs currently under construction. Upon completion, each asset will be leased to David Lloyd Leisure Limited on a new 30-year full repairing and insuring lease. The clubs are expected to complete between September and November 2026, and will each extend to approximately 67,000 sq ft. They will offer a range of premium facilities, including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, gymnasiums, fitness studios, indoor tennis facilities, outdoor padel courts, spa and wellness facilities, cafés, and business lounges. Vagabond Wines opens fifth venue in under a year at Canary Wharf

Vagabond Wines has opened its fifth new venue since September 2025 at London’s Canary Wharf. Spanning 4,000 sq ft, the new location offers over 120 wines, including a selection of English wines produced at Vagabond’s nearby Urban Winery in Canada Water. The venue also features a private events space overlooking the water for celebrations and corporate bookings. The opening comes as Vagabond Wines looks to grow its portfolio from 14 locations today to 25 in the next five years. It follows successful launches in St Paul’s and Liverpool Street last autumn, the opening of the UK’s largest Urban Winery in Canada Waterlast December, and its largest-ever bar in Soho just last month.
